The North Valley Farm Flock
|
Lambs are the future of the flock. We look for well balanced, attractive lambs with early vigor showing strong breed type. We place a strong emphasis on carcass quality and uniformity as meat sales are the primary source of our farm revenue.

Yearling ewes with great style and
capacity. We want our sheep to
look great in the pasture as well as on
the dinner table!
As both our Romneys and Lincolns are dual purpose sheep, used for
both their meat as well as their fleece, we actively select for animals
that can be productive on a diet of grass, hay and alfalfa. We grow our
own grass hay and purchase alfalfa from a farmer down the road.
In our Romney sheep, we are breeding for buttery soft, high luster
fleeces and for the full range of recessive color patterns. Check out
Baby Ruth, above, with her mother!
